Getting personal here but can’t help it, today’s panel has struck a chordant note. Little Muffin aka Soccermut

is a difficult little girl but instead of really getting to know her 3 owners one after the other returned her to Save A Dog Scheme because they couldn’t be bothered. When we found her she had worn all the hair off her nose and around her mouth by poking her snout through her wire cage trying to ask someone to take her home.
This little lass has so much unconditional love to give she puts humans to shame.
If you go to the link then look at other entries by ashydashers to see just what a spirited delight she is.
Love the clip, UsFellers! Having a “difficult little girl” myself (though of the feline variety), I say hats off to you for giving her the right home. :)
All animals know when they are loved, no matter how the human friends choose to show it. And they respond also in their way. My cockatoo who was with me over 23 years managed to live long enough to spend a whole hour in my arms before her last gasps after loosing most of her blood in a prolapse before I awoke. I now have a sweet little Timneh Grey who just wnts to be “with me” because those are the only human words he has chosen to learn -actually “with you”. I’ve now had him almost 3 years and talk to him, trying to teach him the “normal” stuff -Hello, How are you etc. (He’s a male African Grey and she was a female U2-so much for stereotypes).
Dogs don’t care if you’re rich or poor, they don’t care what color you are, or what your political offiliation or sexual orientation is. They don’t care whether you are skinny or fat, or what kind of car you drive or what style you are wearing. Dogs just love, and love unconditionally. Would to God that we, as humans, would learn a thing or two from dogs. The world would be a much better place.

Dogs and cats just need love. And some food and water and a place to sleep.

Yes Us Fellers she is!!!! :-) She found the right person for her, didn’t she?
And I’m glad Gus found a good home. After being on the streets for so long, so what if he gets spoiled a bit!
