I like that the older couple communicate better. And they understand that it’s not all about the food, but my turkey turned out better than ever this time and I will roast a 4# pumpkin in the morning, per Alton Brown’s recipe that I saw weeks ago on TV and found again online.

Cool! Buy another turkey/chicken and cook it the next day and remember to put in the fridge…..

Why throw the whole turkey out? If you can’t trim away the chewed-up parts, you could still use the rest as cat and dog food.
