I expected my birds Cuddles Cockatoo and Fitzroy the Timneh Grey to outlive me, but they both died before their time. Fitz, while I was taking him to visit with his “future” family. Cuddles was the worst loss to me, as she was my constant companion for over 23 years. She was laying too many eggs, and if I were still in IL with my former vet, I think I could have prevented with “cheque” drops.
