Typical of many grownups, utterly dismissive of what makes kids uneasy; if the latter don’t like it, they just have to get over it, like it or not. But when said grownups have to confront situations or people that trigger their own discomfort, then they themselves turn into WATBs, making all kinds of excuses as to why they shouldn’t have to deal with it. And even then, many times they still can’t or won’t acknowledge the disconnect, not to mention the hypocrisy.

Yes, we have to watch the way we dress or someone may think we’re begging. I’m sure I’ve been mistaken for cleaning or yard staff at times- LOL!
