I read recently that before 1960, bananas used to taste like what artificial banana flavoring tastes like in say laffy-taffy, now-and-laters, runts, etc. Yet another aspect of life I feel I’ve been cheated out of thanks to the baby-boomer generation’s greed. :-)

A spoonful of sugar makes the banana go down…..in the most delightful way.

It is good that way. Some Cheerios do make it more tasty. Then slurp the milky sugar at the bottom.

When I was a child we would dip bananas in brown sugar. That was my parents way of getting us to eat the banana for its nutritional value.
