They have been steadily getting worse due to a demand to be formulaic and Disney’s refusal to do anything that might be seen as politically unfriendly.

Flag Smashers in Falcon and Winter Soldier were correct, but they can’t allow that so they make them into overt villains despite that not making sense. Similar to how American Patriot is supposed to be a nationalistic monster and proof of what unquestioning loyalty to your country can make you into, but odds are a certain demographic would complain and say he went “woke”.

And don’t even get me started on the treatment they’re giving the effects. A blue screen for a BAR scene?! REALLY?!

Superhero stuff has been getting lame due to executive meddling and fear of creative freedom.

That’s what TVTropes refers to as Insult to Rocks.

Curly fries last long enough to mold? Where, fantasyland? Oh, in the comics!

One of my biggest complaints is how does Superman or any other who flies do it? All other abilities can be explained, but to fly one needs to exert force in the opposite direction of travel. To fly forward one must apply force backward. There is only one orifice positioned to accomplish that. Superman has gas.

And they’ve run out of ideas to steal/appropriate/repurpose.

And yet, FAR more people see superhero movies than read this comic, and those involved often make more money than these yutzes will ever see.

Sour grapes much?

Even carbage don’t want to be see at the same level of Superhero movies.

Aw, give the guy a break.

Superhero movies are entertaining, Verne. Not all of em, but some of em.

I want crosscut waffle fries and none of them will make it to the garbage.
