You need to do this RIGHT Charlie Brown… the gaps on the shingles are not supposed to line up or you’re in for a lot of leaks… :-P

Charlie would do anything for his dog.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen Snoopy’s dog house with shingles. Normally it’s just three planks.

I so like these old classic Peanuts strips better than the newer ones.

Snoopy’s thought balloon: I appreciate the effort, but I really wanted slate tiles…

At my age, my health team doesn’t even want me climbing a step ladder. Just before I found that out, I had been trimming trees both from a ladder and while standing on my roof. Maybe they won’t mind if I clean my gutters from the second step on the stepladder (gutters are quite low, so it is possible). BTW, a former co-worker fell from a pecan tree, broke his back, and since then has not passed go, and has not collected $200.00, so I’m not mocking the notion of being careful.

A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.

My Dad’s philosophy, regardless of rain sleet or snow. He wasn’t a mailman either.
