I have a very vivid memory of when I was 5. I remember watching the Boston Bruins playing for the Stanley Cup. My brother, sister (who had a crush on Bobby Orr) and I all sitting on the hassock together. My sister & brother were holding their real hockey sticks; I was holding my little red-and-white plastic one.

Looks like what I wear when I watch the news nowadays. Can’t be too careful.

Charlie Brown is probably watching two legendary Catchers of 1950s baseball. Yogi Berra of the Yankees and Roy Campanella of the Dodgers.

My father used to do this with golf — play 18 rounds at his local course, then go home and watch millionaires play 18 on TV.

I used to put my Zorro shirt on to watch the program on TV, like he is putting on the catcher’s gear to watch baseball! (Long time ago)
