    But it’s OK, Charlie…75 years later, you’ll be beloved American icon while Patty will be largely forgotten and confused with another more popular, and interesting, character of the same name in your strip.

    I believe that a lot of Schulz’ early work was auto-biographical. He did make it known in his later years that he had an unhappy childhood.
