Watch your dad try to fix something in the house. I learnt lots of new words that way when I was a kid. The only thing was I wasn’t allowed to reuse them.

You used around 30 words just in that conversation Charlie Brown.

You expect someone to complete a single sentence using 50 words? (rhetorically speaking)

He already used over half of 50 words in the strip.

When this strip was published, I was about as old as these kids. We actually sat and listened to the radio like this because there was NO TV YET.

Also, note that he’s using a dip pen.

Charlie Brown can’t count apparently. He’s used up half of his vocabulary already.
