Peppermint Patty stands on a block and drinks fom a fountain. She says, "That Chuck..he's something else..."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty walks along and says, "I don't know why I even think about him.."<BR><BR> She sits on the ground, leaning against the side of a tree. She says, "Chuck just doesn't seem to understand a girl's emotions..."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty sits up in front of the tree and adds, "In fact, Chuck doesn't seem to understand girls at all.."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty is silhouetted in this panel. In profile, she continues, "Chuck is hard to talk to because he doesn't understand life.."<BR><BR> She sits up straight in front of the tree. "He doesn't understand laughing and crying."<BR><BR> She is silhouetted in this panel. As she walks, Peppermint Patty thinks, "He doesn't understand love, and silly talk, and touching hands, and things like that.."<BR><BR> She continues to walk. "He plays a lot of baseball, but I doubt if he even understands baseball.." [PANEL 9]: KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK Peppermint Patty bags on a door.<BR><BR> [PANEL 10]: Charlie Brown sticks his head out. Peppermint Patty opens her arms and exclaims, "I don't think you understand ANYTHING, Chuck!"<BR><BR> [PANEL 11]: Charlie Brown watches as she walks away. [PANEL 12]: "I don't even understand what it is I don't understand."<BR><BR>
The one thing she was right about, Chuck don’t understand baseball.
