Charlie Brown and Spike stand at Lucy's door. Lucy says, "You're asking our family to adopt this dog?!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies, "Why not? He's Snoopy's brother! He's a good dog."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown adds, "He's a full-blooded beagle." Lucy says, "That's what you say."<BR><BR> Lucy continues, "I say he's part beagle and part disaster!"<BR><BR>
When she first met Spike, Lucy didn’t hesitate to take charge of getting him fattened up because he was so malnourished. And now he’s back to looking “thin as a promise.” Guess she didn’t want to deal with the same problem again, or else she had a lousy memory.
