I remember reading that Dr. Albert Schweitzer, when taking a walk after it rained, would, when he saw a worm struggling on the pavement, pick up a small twig to lift the worm and place it back in the grass. Since than I have been doing that as well. All creatures great and small are part of nature’s grand tapestry.
