Click on the Calendar button under the comic and go to 6 Jan 1974. This is the comic albeit in black and white, when you look at it the day before, it will be yesterdays one.

Love it when everything is automated through computers. They work, except when they don’t. Not sure if the programming can be written to look for these sort of errors.

My first husband worked in the plate-room at the newspaper. This is a plate issue. Somehow they didn’t use the black plate. Only the yellow, blue and red ones. (There are only 4, black being the 4th).

I can see how this happens in today’s automated world. With thousands of comics to get out, who has time to inspect all of them? What is surprising is that, so far in my readings, this is the only strip I’ve seen it on. Usually, when software goes ka-blowie (a technical term), it fails across the board.

Normally when software works sometimes and not others, it’s the data being fed to it that is the issue. I’m not sure how that applies here.

It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

After closer scrutiny, it appears as though Lucy Van Pelt’s dress scene has been attacked by the tongue of a Jacksonville Jaguar who had eaten blue cotton candy instead of zebra muscles.
