Wow, this must be the most affectionate I’ve ever seen Lucy be with Charlie Brown.

Knuckleball didn’t exactly help Mickey Jannis v. Astros two weeks ago.

All of Charlie Brown’s pitches seem to produce the same result anyway.

So this is probably why the gang weren’t so worried that CB disappeared from summer camp all week. They knew CB had to show up to pitch in Sunday’s game.

Boy Charlie Brown, all Lucy was doing was trying to help. The one time she was actually nice to him and he blows up at her.

He’s in the middle of his wind up. Not a good time for Lucy to be flirting.

That “CONFERENCES ON THE MOUND CANCELLED” sign would be fitting for the COVID pandemic.

Lucy apparently doesn’t realize that the opposing batter – not to mention nearly everybody else – can hear what she’s saying. (The batter’s probably ready for it…)

That’s a pretty uncharacteristic threat from Charlie Brown.

I want to know if all that finger kissing worked on that flat-footed guy?

Ah, she was just trying to help. Pretty sweet for Lucy, actually. But all of CB’s expressions are perfect

Maybe Mad Magazine was right, they are going to get married some day.

Oh please, Chuck. If you’d had the backbone for that, you would’ve done it long ago. Plus Schulz would never have allowed a strip where one of the boys hits a girl because he didn’t find that funny.

Seems like after all the smooching, it would be a spit ball.

Such anger? Even after the extra little ol’ kiss for the thumb?

In Lucy’s defense, knuckle balls are famous for catching batters flat-footed…the problem is that you get kind of a reputation as a knuckle-baller…

I can’t believe Lucy is kissing all his fingers and his thumb… a heart shows through under the crabbiness!

I’d like to see CB try to do that.
