Remember when homes had one TV? Remember when kids watched media on a TV set?

So Lucy is a hypocrite – she uses a Bible verse to get her way when she wasn’t there first but doesn’t let Linus get his way when she was there first…

The devil can cite scripture.

That’s an interesting quote from the book of Matthew. It makes me wonder what the first and last books in the New Testament actually are? (I heard that Mark was written first? And John last? So John is first and Mark last?)

And this is why I consider Peanuts to be the greatest comic strip of all time.

My family home had four. One in the family room, one in the kitchen, and two upstairs.

I think Mathew also said that the one who chooses the channel gets to sit directly behind the one who didn’t.

Those who are first will later be last…oh the times, they are a changin’. (But not yet)

That quote is out of context. Never a good idea to do that.

That doesn’t even make sense.

That’s funny—Linus and Lucy (and CB) are watching TV in today’s Peanuts Begins, too!

In the movie “They Call Me Trinity” (oh gawd, I’m old!), the character called ‘The Major’ used that same logic (and the same scriptural passage) to try to run some Mormon farmers off of a patch of land he wanted for himself.

What would life be like, if TV was never invented ?

All Linus’s years of quoting scripture have come back on him.

But they are both getting an equal share of TV radiation.

He probably didn’t really care as Jesus was probably his best friend….

Ahh, yes, remember when we would SHARE the TV, but then most of us did not have a pushy older sister.

My parents chose what was on the television.

Siblings are worthless.

You better be careful, Lucy. That same book also says, “God is not one to be mocked.”

I have 7 sisters….it where I learned what rolled downhill……..

Linus better double check that. He knows the bible far better than Lucy.

I get cable TV, so there’s no test patterns or weird stuff like that. However, some channels have infomercials that run after midnight thru dawn.

Unnamed sisters are mentioned in Matthew 13:56 and may be implied Matthew 12:46, but their number is unknown, so I guess they could’ve all been younger than Matthew.
