Poochie was supposedly a neighborhood kid from the old days. Snoopy disliked her because she threw a stick for him to chase bur ran off with a sheep dog. Kind of interesting that she was around when Snoopy acted like a dog. She was also the first person to call Chuck “Charlie Brown”. One appearance only, Hazelnut gave the date. Never mentioned before or after, except for Snoopy leaving her off his Christmas card list specifically
Reminds The Count of Minnie the Moocher who was a real Hoochie Coocher. She had a guy named Smokey who was really Cokey. Hi-de-hi-de-hooo. The Count ❤️s Cab Calloway!
I loved it when my doubles teammate and I would set up the poach and it worked. Especially against Thurston High. The satisfaction of blasting a “no return shot” past those snobs always brought a roar from our supporters.

If you’re interested in seeing Poochie, go to the January 7th 1973 Sunday strip.

Laughter is the best medicine. Just don’t do it too hard or you’ll bust a gut.

It’s a good thing they didn’t read Monty Python’s deadly joke routine.

I bet Snoopy’d rather be playing with Poochie in the mixed doubles tournament than Molly Volley at this point.

She has a side job as a short order cook

I thought Poochie went back to his home planet.

Probably better then watching Molly volley…

Aw, I thought this was gonna be about Poochie the Rockin’ Dog. Best Simpsons character ever.

You should have played with her instead of Molly Volley, Snoop.

I did a search and learned something about the tennis term poach. Who knew?

But it can only kill you once. After that you will be fine.

That’s a fact Snoopy! I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to pull the car over because I was laughing too hard to see the road!
