This is apparently from 1977. There was the Apple II, and yes, the TRS-80, but home computers hadn’t really caught on yet. I wonder if there’s some topical reference that I’m missing.

Your dinner delivery date has been postponed to sometime in January. We’re sorry for the delay.

Snoopy’s supper was computerized in 1977. Peanuts is way ahead of its time.

This is a real thing today. Not so much in 1977.

Doubt if a barber’s family would have a computer in 1977 or even 1987.

In the mid 70s, Gene Roddenberry came to speak at my school. He predicted that in ten years, people would have computers in their homes.

I said to myself, “Yeah, like that’s gonna happen!”

I think the reason VB isn’t feeding him is because Snoopy is banging on the door and not knocking on the door

It would have been worse if the ice cream/milkshake machine was broken.

1977? Was it a Commodore PET? I learned to program in BASIC on one of those, it was really fun…

The strange thing is Snoopy’s paws can hold a briefcase, but not a supper dish.

I’m not sure what that has to do with opening a can or pouring out kibble ;)

“The Broccoli Cheese soup is not up to the chef’s standards”. Told to The Count by the waitress in the VIP Lounge at Hard Rock Casino last Tuesday.
