Rat says, "Look at this printer. The low price listed is only after you apply for a $100 rebate. Why don't they just take the money off the sales price and skip the rebate?" Goat says, "Because companies know that most people won't apply for the rebate." Rat says, "Why not?" Goat says, "Either because they don't know how or just never get around to it." Rat says, "So a rebate is a company's declaration of faith in the fact that we're dumb and lazy?" Goat says, "Well, I wouldn't say-" Pig sas, "Guess who got a deal ona printer!!!" Goat says, "I give up." Pig says, "Now then, what's a re-batty?" Rat says, "I have to hit you with this repeatedy." Pig says, "Nuts... and all I wanted was a printer."
It once took me 14 months to get a rebate, even though I followed all the steps correctly.
