Man: Hello, Mr. Rat... I understand you're here to interview for an office position. Rat: Yes, sir. Man: How much experience do you have? Rat: Not very much. Man: Then how can I help you? Rat: Well, I was hoping to gain that here in this job. Man: Well, I can't give you a job without experience. Rat: But I can't get experience without a job. Man; Then you can't get a job. Rat: Then I can't get experience! Man: Okay, okay... Calm down. I may have an opening in the mailroom. Would you be interested? Rat: Fine. Man: How much experience do you have? Rat: So I strangled him with his tie.
I have to say I’m pretty much with Rat on this one. For once he told the truth and look what it got him. But businesses just don’t want to invest in their employees any more and then they complain that they can’t find qualified help.
