To me there is nothing better than a regular plain (some call cheese) slice.

Aw come on, Pig! at least he wasn’t eating PORK SAUSAGE on his pizza! (mmmm, yummy!)

Whenever someone’s bringing in an assortment, I always ask for one with everything I like (sausage, mushrooms, olives) plus the topping I can take or leave but that other people can’t stand (anchovies). That ensures that people won’t eat all of my pizza and leave me with nothing but a bunch of veggie crap.

Yeah, we know you, Pig. We know you’d rather prefer ham, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, salami, and other meats you can’t seem to realize that you’re cannibalizing from other pigs.

Pig’s life is getting better and better! No more Pigita, no more Rat… all that’s left to make his life perfect is to bring back Sweet Fanny!

I don’t like anchovies neither.

Actually, no fish on pizza, please. Well, maybe tuna. Or ono. Come to think of it, maybe calamari, but I’ll bet it would be hard to keep it from getting tough.

Anybody remember Shakey’s Louisiana Shrimp pizza?

Mmm, anchovies…Although you need pepperoni too. An appreciation for anchovies is one of Rat’s few good qualities, it seems.

Bacon/Pepperoni. ALWAYS bacon/pepperoni.

And before you complain about me eating pork products in front of Pig, he’s eaten BLTs happily in the past.

I’ll eat anything on my pizza, even anchovies, except for black olives. My favorite pizza, though, is sausage and mushroom with a nice thick crust.

The first pizza I ever had was in 1961 and it had anchovies. That was the last time I had the nasty little things. I like pepperoni, black olives, and bell pepper now.

Anchovies and pineapple together. Now that’s the ticket.

I said it yesterday: anchovies and onion. People will get out of your way!

I’m vegetarian (technically pescetarian) and one of my treats is a cheese pizza with pineapple chunks. Papa Murphy’s is the best. I just get a cheese pizza and add my own pineapple.

Pepperoni lovers unite!

In past strips we’ve seen Rat and Pig order and eat pizza together so how can Pig be surprised by Rat’s topping preference?

The only pizzas I eat are Spicy Chicken and Cheese & Tomato.

Rat, shove it.

People used to bring us toppings for their pizza. Little octopus, different types of fish and the like. They still got charged like we supplied it, but, boy, did they sometimes stink the place up.

Pepperoni, sweet sausage, green peppers, + onions.

Back in the seventies the pizza makers got it into their heads to flavor their pepperoni with anise. That was a bad decade filled with licorice-flavored pizza!

It must be his retaliation for the jibes I’ve aimed at him.

The only thing worse than pineapple on a pizza is anchovies! Ugh! Ptui!

Meat. And onion.

Onions and mushrooms, for me.

The only things I can’t stand on pizza are anchovies, olives, and peppers so hot that you have to drink milk directly from the cow.

Hear me out here… pineapple can be pretty good if you do it right
