Somebody go over there with a big spatula.

Remove the legs, arms, shorts, and cap, and Stephan would literally be two couch potatoes, one on top of the other.

Things could truly be worse if Steph was sitting on a couch with a vinyl cover wearing his speedo instead

How about those vinyl seat covers they used to put in cars? Try getting in the car and sitting on those with shorts on a hot August day.

When Pastis does get up, the separation of shorts from leather is going to make a most embarrassing sound.

Only on Pearls Before Swine can the cartoon character meet it’s creator for lunch.

So he’s been sitting there for a week already. No wonder he looks so … um …thin.

Hate when that happens……..could it happen to a Croc ?

You’d think he would have learned from that tongue-on-lamppost incident from last February!

My mother always wanted a leather couch. She finally got it! She hated it! It was not comfortable.

But it’s September.

Real leather is not that bad for being sticky, but vinyl or faux leather is horrible

WHAT was he thinking?!?

At least he had shorts on.

Aw c’mon, Pastis, we know you don’t wear pants or shorts around the house.

I remember either my dad or grandpa thinking that duct taping the cracked vinyl seats in my car would be a good idea. The also put it on the ripped floor mat, so it would stick to my foot every time I needed to brake or engage the clutch.

Just in time for football season.

I never knew Steph was into leather!

Actually while the leather is still hot and pliable is when he can escape. When it cools and hardens, then he’s stuck until it remelts.

Ow…the pasty white legs are burning my eyes….OW OW OOOWWW! IT BURNS!

Cartoon-Boy looks like he’s already wasting away; his legs are so scrawny! Looks like rickets, I fear. Maybe he’ll have to be put down, humanely of course, before winter arrives….

My first car had black vinyl bench seats. You could almost hear the sizzle when you got in on a sunny summer day.

Obviously cartoonists don’t make enough money to buy an air conditioner. Poor Steph!
