Well, I would ask, “ the right as you face the foot of the bed or the right as you face the head of the bed?” Problem could have been solved!

That took a quick turn. I sleep on the left in bed, or the right as I walk through the doorway. So I’m flexible.

A gentleman sleeps on the side closest to the door so he can protect the woman in case of a break-in. An older guy sleeps on the side closest to the bathroom.

I’m with jlsnell327 on this one. Right and left relative to what? And then there’s the question of whether you sleep ON your right or ON the left side of your body.

I thought it was a political-social commentary. Americans have so much in common, but we focus on and react with outrage on the one issue we differ. Or maybe not.

Right or left depends on if you’re standing at the foot of the bed looking at it, or are IN the bed. :)
