Come on, rats can eat rubbish, it has been known that they even chew papers and circuits. I do not think cold pizza will do any harm to Rat’s health.

Well… I was going to say something about how long the average rat lives, then I remembered that Disney has a mouse who is 90 years old, so diet must have SOMETHING to do with it, right?

Pizza has at least 3 of the food groups, and usually 4. What’s not to love?

Rat has survived consuming stuff that would otherwise kill an elephant in small doses. By now, the only thing that could shorten Rat’s life would be something natural like fresh organic fruits and vegetables .

Worked at pizza shops for 3 years as a callow youth. We got to take home mistakes and burned specimens. Nothing like carbonized, cold pizza for breakfast. Will be 68 next month, so it hasn’t killed me yet.

of course it is not simply about life and death. quick death, fine, but do you want to be incapacitated because you stroked out at 45 and then spend 20 years dangling onto life, crapping in your bed, living in an underfunded care home or something like that? everyone thinks they’ll just die nice and simple. but, it’s still a funny comic.

According to Dietitian Chelsey Amer, Pizza is healthier than a bowl of cereal for breakfast. “You may be surprised to find out that an average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories,” Amer said. “However, pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full and boost satiety throughout the morning.”

She acknowledges that pizza isn’t necessarily a health food, but maintains that it’s a more balanced meal than a typical bowl of sugar flakes.

Cold pizza is healthier than all the sugar-bomb cereals out there. Numerous studies have established that the real culprit of obesity and heart disease is excessive sugar, not fat (“good” or “bad”). Go for it, Rat!

The problem with pizza every morning is the implication of pizza every night before. It’s tasty, sure, but I love my (home cooked) pot roasts, fish fillets, burgers, chicken with rice, tuna salad (that’s not cooked at all), and on and on and… We do have (home made) pizza every other month or so. Try it with mushroom, onion, fennel and egg plant with a pesto sauce. Yummy.

Cold pizza for breakfast is one of the Best Things in (an average guy’s) Life. And far more nutritious than most of the stuff sold in the Cereals aisle of the grocery store.
