It is nice to be able to choose isolation.

Eh not me. Me not misses it at all. Only rich and privileged may misses enjoyings in isolation. Me just happy me get foods back on me table again now.

I miss driving on empty roads.

I have absolutely no problem saying it. Except for price increases, the last two years were wonderfully peaceful.

YES! The “pandemic” is over, now just avoid “the flu” and get on with life as it’s supposed to be.

I’ve always thought the worst thing about prison would be I’d be stuck with a cellmate.

I’m an “essential worker” during the lockdown; I miss my desolate commute.

It did allow us to reflect upon in really pointless many aspects of our lives were. Hopefully normal will never fully return

I didn’t miss having my family, especially my grandchildren and aging mother, manipulated by the news media and government for the past two years and they’re still at it.

This is funny in a way, but troubling as well. Why does someone who enjoyed forced/mandated isolation simply continue to isolate themselves to whatever extent works for them? That would be largely possible without suggesting their preferences be forced on others.

I miss that isolation too, but that’s about it.

Some people didn’t know they were introverts until they were forced to isolate, I guess…

Don’t worry folks, with the next wave coming out of China, we will be partying like it’s 2020 again!

Ooh, the horror, the horror.

I’m still in isolation. As long as there are the strident, ‘faux Covid’, anti-vaxxer faction – I will continue to be. I was already socially challenged – these types make me want to continue to stay home.

Rat and others like him can self isolate all they want. No one is forcing them to associate with the rest of us. Happy New Year.

Like I’m going to go to large gatherings or eat in a restaurant or go anywhere inside without a mask. Just because people are over the pandemic doesn’t mean it’s over.

I don’t miss the isolation, because I never experienced it. Folsom and nearby Cali towns de facto ended lockdown by the end of August 2020, and we haven’t had noticeable trouble because of it.

That church parking lot sign threw me — I thought this was going to be a horror-themed ‘toon about families attending a God Awful Movie on NYE.

The moral of the story? Don’t go to church. (panel 4)

2 years? I have been isolating for 3.

Two + wonderful tears of remote college classes, no spreading the doom in classroom, how I first got sick in Nov. 2019, then again in Mar. 2020, yes Covid twice – “class mates”…

I don’t EVER want to go back to 2020 even though there were clearly some advantages.

I trained for years to work at my hobby without interference. I was just primed for meditating at the workbench.

I actually miss those days myself.

There were a lot of advantages

I have been in a grocery store, a regular one, twice since covid hit. I did a “panic trip” when we had our first case in our state and once again about a year later. I got things that would keep, or were frozen in case I had to hole up for an extended time. My child insisted on delivering groceries and left them on my porch for months, and eventually I either do drive-up or I go to a small fruit market nearby that has a lot of fresh air in it, always has had large windows that are open when possible, weather-wise. It’s small enough that I can be in and out in a very short time. My child used to stick in treats she knew I liked in addition to what I asked her to get. That was actually a big pick-me-up since I couldn’t even see her except through the windows for months.

I really miss not having to duck an elbow when someone turns around too fast.
