Marigold has a unique horn for a unicorn.

I get this impression that Phoebe is the first human with which Marigold’s had extensive contact, if contact at all.

She must be playing Super Mario Galaxy!

I didn’t realize until now how morbid most video games are.

I’m afraid I’ll have to agree with Tacopielvr, Dana Thompson appears to be a good cartoonist with a clever idea but not in the same league with Bill Watterson (but then, few cartoonists are). I’ve checked out HN several times recently but don’t think I’ll be adding it to my list. Looks like a good strip though and I certainly do wish Dana Thompson success with it.

I want to jump in here and say that I am loving this strip! Keep up the great work! Hugs!

I’m loving this strip! I always wanted a unicorn as a little girl. I guess I technically still do…

And yet again I have to point out that comparing a strip less than a month old to a strip that ran for ten years is just plain /silly/. “Gasoline Alley” didn’t even introduce its main character until its fourth year. “Thimble Theatre” took an entire decade to bring Popeye the Sailor onstage. Nobody, not even (extrapolating from history) Dana knows where “Heavenly Nostrils” is going over the years, so how can anyone judge it? Let it go. Receive it. See what it has to say. Learn how to understand.

Ah, Marigold…Unicorns should just stick to playing ’Myst".

“Calvin & Hobbes” was written and drawn to fit a bigger space in newspapers. It’s harder to read now because it’s been shrunken. If you think C&H is hard to read, look at 100-year-old strips like “Little Nemo in Slumberland” or even “The Katzenjammer Kids”.

Marigold’s expressions are simply priceless, as are her comments and interpretations. I was a bit surprised -albeit pleased, too, I’ll add- at her shocked outburst in panel 3. She seemed genuinely, and very deeply, horrified at Phoebe having died. Then she had an entirely different horrified expression in panel 5. ::grins::

::grumbles:: OK, can someone please help me out with this bleepin’ formatting? I’ve accidentally discovered how to bold and strike-out, and I’d really appreciate learning (ahead of time) what other formatting is possible.

Hehe, this strip is so easily relatable. :)

What is that, Super Mario Galaxy? Because I don’t think there are that many Wii games where you play with a Nunchuk.

Might wanna hold off on showing her TV shows.
