Now this is some interesting stuff! Phoebe, even before she met Marigold, surpassed the Shield of Boringness! It seems that her connections with Florence are getting stronger every year. (I just bought and read Volume 8: Unicorn Theater. It’s a lovely read! Florence is a strong character in this book, though to be honest, so is everyone else. Easily, it’s a 10/10 for me!)

Somehow, even then, Phoebe was partly immune to the Shield of Boringness.

Oh, I get it. Florence cranked up the Shield of Boringness, which made the meeting so uneventful that it slipped out of Phoebe’s mind after they separated.

A traumatic experience for poor Florence.

I wish gocomics had tags, at least character tags or something. I have no idea why Florence has spiders in her nose and can’t even check all her appearances.

So Florence met Phoebe first. This changes everything.

Wait. Phoebe didn’t remember, and Florence never mentioned it till now. This changes nothing.

So, does the spider problem interfere with Florence’s Shield of Boringness?

Oh, so they actually had a conversation—that’s already more than I was expecting.
