my electric can opener saves me having to get out of my recliner every time Mama needs a can opened. you just sit it on top of the can and push the button. no sharp edges left, either.
If Earl’s blood pressure is anything like mine or the other eighty percent of the male population in our age range, he shouldn’t be salting his food anyway.
Try buying a new car with manual transmission, manual windows and manual doors… and the really bizarre part is it’s just as bad with trucks. When you can’t find a truck with a manual transmission you know Americans have gotten way too stupid and lazy for their own good. I’ll never be able to get rid of my ‘97 pickup, I certainly won’t be able to replace it with anything newer.
I agree with Earl. That does seem lazy. What next? A hovering fork where it takes some food from the plate and puts it into your mouth?I’m just saying.xxx
I have electric salt and pepper shakers but not cause I don’t mind shaking as too lazy but more because I got tired of hand grinding them, I like the fresh ground stuff better than the pre-ground smaller things. I also like being able to adjust the size, large salt or pepper pieces depending on dish or smaller ones.

We are getting pretty lazy when you can buy pre-made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches ( I forget what they’re called).

timbob2313As Earl alluded, it is good exercise and after the first stir or two, not all that difficult to do without oiling the room.
