I like toast with butter and cinnamon/sugar, but never watched/listened to “The Lone Ranger” with it… maybe “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” for all I know.
I had toast for a late night snack, but didn’t put cinnamon on it. Have not done that in AGES!. I have to do it again one of these days. Sometimes I buy cinnamon raisin bread and toast that. And if you spread cream cheese frosting on cinnamon raisin toast , it tastes a lot like a cinnamon roll. Yummy!
Did that decades ago as a kid and still get a kick from it once in a while. The good tastes never leave us. We just set aside the memories of them until something triggers our taste buds.
Cinnamon toast when I was a kid had margarine, cinnamon and sugar. My mom would put it in the broiler under the oven and take it out when the sugar melted. Good stuff.
We listened to Lone Ranger on the radio (also Gunsmoke, Sky King and Sgt Preston of the Yukon) but we ate cinnamon toast at the table, not sitting on the couch.
I used to watch the Lone Ranger on TV. Years back my hubby and I sold Old Time Radio shows and got to listen to the Lone Ranger then. Lots of great old time radio shows we listen to some evenings….we don’t watch what’s on TV any longer we have our own network and watch shows we have bought and are in our cabinet and make our own playlist.

Try buttered toast with Neslte Quik powder on it, makes a nice change.

Ha! When I was young, we didn’t even have toast! I just molded sawdust into the shape of a piece of bread!
Oh, I thought this was a liar’s contest… :-)
