Opal might want to get out the tweezers and get Q-tip out of Earl’s ear herself.

Be careful,Earl your brains might come with the tip of that cotton swab.

Why not just use needle nose pliers or a drill? Dremel tools are fast too. Go ahead and get over with.

A little bit of hook-velcro seems like a better option.

That’s what they made tweezers for.

Earl is liable to suck out an eardrum that way. Earl could try squirting water into the ear first. If Opal used tweezers, Earl would have to stay perfectly still and she would need her super reading glasses (stronger than normal reading glasses). Doctor would be the next option, but that’s difficult during a pandemic.

I can only imagine how Earl managed to actually break off the tip of a Q-Tip in his ear … and what the heck was he doing sticking a Q-Tip into his ear in the first place? It says right on the box to not do that! But give the vacuum a try, Earl … you’ll likely suck out that pea brain of yours along with your eardrum! (Not that you’d really notice … after all, you’re not using the thing anyway.)

If it’s the same one, that’s been in there for a few days!

Based on the suggestions so far, Earl should fire up the power washer.

Yikes! Opal needs to get a tweezers to get it out…Earl has no common sense when it comes to vacuuming…..thwack

I always used to tie a safety string to the Q-tip that I could use to pull it out. Now, my favorite Q-tip is a custom one I made that is long enough to push all the way through and pull it out the other side. It has the cotton swab in the middle, with a long stick on either side. I clean it with acetone every third time I use it.

The hose will get stuck on his neck and he’ll end up with a hickey.

He really isn’t that stupid is he? Wait…he IS, and Opal is only encouraging him. But then she always thinks he is stupid, yet she forgets that HIS pension puts food on the table. She never had a job outside the home. (Yes I acknowledge that “housewife” is a full time vocation.)
