I’d be surprised Earl did take Opal’s tweezers, but used them to pick ticks and fleas out of Roscoe.

My first construction boss used to say “You have 10 seconds to get rid of it, and then you should just draw a line around it so you can find it to pull during lunch break.” So I got good at using my pen-knife as a scalpel to extract splinters. But I’ve become considerably more solicitous of my own pain these days, so I use a straight pin and tweezers. And a magnifying lens… Though most recently, the problem was on the bottom of my foot, and Spouse had to do the extraction. Using tweezers.

If Earl never tweezes, that’s probably not a mustache…

Earl obviously doesn’t live in tick country.

After Tweezing of the eyebrows the next beauty trick of the day will be finger smashing so the finger nails will not need to be painted ;-)

It’s been too long since I’ve complemented Roscoe, but that is one good facial expression in the final panel!

“Tweeze” is an underappreciated verb.

Today they wax not tweeze! Probably the reason he’s got one unibrow! LOL

Super great today with the precious Roscoe in two of the four frames . Frame one his eyes reacting to the question and then reacting to Earls response in the last frame is just wonderful , thanks to Brian for a great strip today .

Mom used to “sterilize” the end of a needle and dig them out. Ouch!!!

My goal when I become an old codger is to remember to trim my eyebrows (I will never be Andy Rooney!), tame nose and ear hairs, and shave my neck.

And he doesn’t seem to have the Curse of the Old Man Earhair, either.

I’m jealous of hairy-eyebrowed men. Due to (I suspect)lifelong tweezing, I now have to paint my eyebrows on!

I never tweeze either but my wife has different standards and has scissors ready everytime I go out.

My wife finds it emotionally bonding to tweeze my eyebrows.

Just because he hasn’t tweezed, doesn’t mean he doesn’t NEED to…

Painful, but true: I remember my first gray pubic (can I write that in here?) hair. Tweezed it. Ah, the foolish vanity of the (relatively) young.

I started plucking out the grey eyebrows for the sake of uniformity. Soon, I’ll have to switch to plucking out the dark ones. :)

“ Eyebrows” always make me think of Eugene Levy. That man has SERIOUS eyebrows.

Various tweezers are great tools when working with crushed glass.

At Harbor Freight they sell a little rotary device for trimming nose hair and ear hair. Surgical steel blades and designed not to harm you. Of course they are made in China.
