Yeah, we know what you REALLY meant, Nelson!

Our cat is ~14 now and is slowing down.

Nelson just stepped into something pretty stinky…

Okay…

This is very sad for me.

My mothers last cat, Eby, was with her for quite a few years,

My mother took very ill and was on her death bed and the hospital allowed me and my wife to bring Eby to her!

My mum was soooooo happy to see her beloved cat for maybe 10 minutes and was able to pet her before lapsing into unconsciousness!

Eby was very sedate and acquiescent which was unusual for her normal feral mien.

I believe Eby knew that her owner was going to the other side and was there for my mum!

Roscoe has given plenty of thought to the same situation, but he has the good sense to keep his mouth shut about it.

Awwww! It’s so hard to lose a beloved pet.

This cartoon is why our cats are mentioned in our will. We made sure that they’ll be taken care of if we go before them.

Probably none in this pack, but it edges closer.

Sophie will be our last dog. She’ll be 13 next month.

That is why i hesitate to buy a dozen bars of soap at a time

My dog has at least 3, probably many more people who will take her without question if I die before her. My offspring has been instructed to provide funds from me for my dog’s medical care, etc, if needed where she ends up. I know she would get a good home, and possibly offspring will want her, but I would prefer she go to someone who is retired and has time for her.

I outlived my dog. But I’d have eagerly given 10 years of my own life for him to live another 5.

Roscoe was asleep, the “YAY” woke him up in a daze.

My cat had two strokes while sitting in my lap. After that, he could only move his head—that was it. I had to take him and have him put down. He was a Siamese, and he was 19. Poor little guy!

Yup, about 14 years and they break your heart … plus he will pee on your grave.

This has been a depressing series.

My brother had a cat that lived to be about 24… the single-most miserable little creature on the face of the planet!

I get freaked out sometimes when I have to make arrangements for the pets in case I croak….oldoldoldol
