That hat of Earl’s is a newsboy cap or Gatsby.

I thought Polygrip was how a parrot stayed on it’s perch.

I was expecting Duck(t) tape but Parrot grip works as well.

Earl accidentally discovered this when he once mistook a tube of Poligrip for a tube of hair gel.

A suction cup would have worked too on his head…

The Grand Central stop of the #7 subway is at the end of a long tunnel under the East River that has strong wind. There used to be a sign, “HOLD YOUR HATS”.

Simple, the aerodynamic design of the cap, when worn properly, keeps it from blowing off of your head. It is the reason that driving caps became popular, as they did not blow off when driving those early vehicles with either no top or the top down.

considering the # of malfunctions, the answer is no, but they should.
