Roscoe doesn’t mind the extra protein.

If a dog will drink out of a toilet bowl, I don’t think a little bug in his water is too traumatic.

You should try it sometime, Earl. Better yet, ask Opal to try it. Just… let me get my popcorn first.

Who will clean the floor and Roscoe’s face? Where has Opal been lately? My dog likes to eat crunchy, packed snow that is almost ice. She bites of bits like it’s a candy bar. I don’t get it, but I allow it for a while as long as it’s not where there’s road salt. We have much snow this morning.

I grew up with an above ground pool and we would get these teardrop shaped brown velvety bugs with 2 flippers. If you tried to scoop them out with a skimmer, they’d try to jump back into the water. Someone once said they came from Bird Poop, but they always just seem to appear out of nowhere. I wonder if that’s what Roscoe ate?

Only thing better would be a bug in the toilet bowl!

Let’s hope the bug isn’t a carrier of a hump the lady’s leg parasite.

Just like my mini shar pei girl: NEVER LICKS HER CHOPS! I even trained her to beeline to me afterwards to give me stinky “water kisses.” <3 Sweet little Roscoe!

I’m not sure there was a great deal of choice on the bug’s part.
