I still use my Personal Analog Device(PAD). It works with either pen or pencil.

Those galvanized ones taste TERRIBLE, and I’m sure they’re not good for you, either.

i have used vaughan hammers for35 years, then i tried a “stilleto”. i want one but can’t bring myself to spend a hundred bucks for a hammer!

There’s an app for that.

Had an old Estwing hammer years ago. I affixed a Skil quick-lock cord to the base of the handle. Great just to leave laying around the job site.

gaslightguy: Reminds me of my multi-purpose camping tool. Start with an Estwing geology pick. Sharpen the handle on the pick side for splitting firewood (on the hammer side if you miss hammering a tent stake, you will have two tent stakes). Make a detachable entrenching shovel blade to fit over the pick. Loosten the ground with the pick and scoop it out with the shovel. Pick, shovel, hammer, wedge all in one pound.

I had a beautiful Stanley hammer, perfectly balanced and fit my hand just right. It was hanging on the pegboard in the garage and it disappeared when we had several contractors working here. I am sure one of the workers “thought” it was his. Waaaah! I haven’t found another one like it.
