Shoutout to Pluggers, whose whole vibe over the decades has carefully created the strategic ambiguity that leaves me, a liberal big-city elitist, unsure whether today’s panel is about some “Hints from Heloise” type technique for keeping your shirts fresh/unwrinkled before a big event, or if it’s just a “Ha ha, pluggers are old and increasingly plagued by dementia” joke.
Pluggers has raised the bar again. First it was “Rhino man hocks his TV” that set the standard, now it’s “Rhino man looks for his shirt in he refrigerator.”

Now, the peanut butter may end up in the frig once in awhile, but never clothes. They are more likely to end up in the wrong drawer or closet.

It’s behind the milk. Rita Rudner has a very humorous routine about “Refrigerator Blindness” in men.

Not sure about the fridge compartment, but there are plenty of good reasons to put your clothes in the freezer…

In particular, it’s a great way to kill moths & their eggs & larvae & save your sweaters & yarn (a trick I learned from a fellow knitter):
