In the morning my fingers used to be all curled up and racked with pain. So I got special night-time gloves for that. Now in the morning my fingers are straight and ….. racked with pain.
I guess I must be lucky—-nothing hurts WHEN I wake up—no pains but………when I go to get out of bed, I occasionally have ‘a twinge’ somewhere but at least it leaves shortly after starting down the hallway for my ‘morning constitutional’ ! ! !
I find that days that I wake with "LESS’ pain ……. I get carried away and do more, then I should ……… and you guessed it ……. “MORE” pain for several days ……. Oh, well …… keeps life interesting ….. ;)

Pain is reality. No pain is a dream.

It means it’s going to be a good day that will likely end badly because you will over do it.

Jeez, is this one spot on. I slept through the night and nothing hurts? Where is Jesus?

Just about everything hurts. And whatever doesn’t hurt, doesn’t work.

At my age, just waking up checks the box for my biggest expectation of the day…..the rest is bonus.

Upon waking I treat myself to various spot treatments of diclofenac (generic) which gets me going. Great stuff.

You think about going back to bed but know you will feel better after moving around for a few minutes.

Pain is Life’s way of reminding you that you are still alive.

Since there’s no danger of that, you can be sure you’re still around.

I awaken to a sense of wonder. I wonder what’s going to pop when I move it.

Kneel to pray and give thanks to God for another day to work and play; and offer the pain as part of the price that Christ did pay.

If I wake up with no pain, I know that I’m only dreaming I’m awake. ;>)
