Basenjis are famous for being barkless dogs. They’re not totally soundless, though; their vocalization is sort of a throaty “blah!”

My beloved Bert was half Basenji. He could bark, but almost never did. So I figure it’s not just that Basenjis are unable to bark, they also lack the impulse.

The case will be thrown out because the mime police never read him his rights.
