It’s too late already. S/he may escape the tinsel, star and other decorations, but it’s already lost its roots.

Poor tree! He just wants to go home for Christmas.

I’m sure someone in a park will find some beer cans and dog tags to hang on it and sing silent night. A naked Christmas tree is a sad site.

It’s gonna make it home to die. Ain’t THAT great.

Considering what dogs do to trees of all kinds…..

in our area, discarded and unused trees are donated to the DNR, who then haul them in big bunches out to our very large nearby lake, dropped in by choppers at strategic areas, that the fish then use as breeding grounds…

Pathos when I least expect it. Clever and moving.
