Monday, I said I was glad to be wrong, that Scott was going to examine Winslow ’s family.
Today, I wish I was wrong. This is the same kind of mud-slinging I’d expect to hear from Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and many, many others.
What I liked about this strip, when I started reading it many, many decades ago, was that while it was slanted to the right (no wrong in that), nevertheless, it did not ridicule Winslow, the liberal.
So much so that, while Carmen would win most of their arguments (more like discussions), there were times that Scott would let Winslow have his day.
What we’re seeing this week seems beneath the Scott Stantis I once knew.
