Voter suppression is only one of their techniques to rid America of democracy.
.
Their latest ‘technique’ is the violent attempt to overthrow the government of the United States. They will repeat the effort if not punished for doing so.
.
Is Stantis admitting, in a roundabout way, that Republicans are trying to end real elections in America?
Get out and vote?? No need to get out. Elections officials can merely send mail in ballots to everyone (dead or alive) on the voter rolls, in violation of the laws passed by their state legislatures.
State legislators are the most gerrymandered, worthless, do-nothing, mindless, party-slave politicians in the whole country. They want to give THEM more power?
They also get the lowest turnout. It will give power to those who are voted for the least.
Yes, Carmen, turn over the most mundane, mediocre tasks to a general vote of the people and watch as nothing gets done. The legislatures don’t have the expertise. nor the time to devote to running agencies. This is simply the Right’s means of eliminating the issues thru inattention.
Saying it is now the responsibility of Congress is a bunch of right-wing crap. Noticed how any legislation dealing with any of those three topics always get blocked? If anything does get passed, the Supreme Court will declare it to be unconstitutional. Reform the Supreme Court!
If the framers had had greater foresight (prescience) they would have written the Bill of Responsibilities right alongside the Bill of Rights, where it belongs. As it is….

Wait! Expect elected officials to do their jobs! Never happen. Too busy soliciting graft.

The current tab is over $20,000,000 on pro and anti abortion campaigns in just Kansas. $20,000,000 is a lot of work.

Scary thought. What if everyone voted, including people who didn’t care enough to get informed about the candidates and the issues ?
