Actually, it’s always been my experience that a decided “lack” of intelligence is required for ANY theological discussion – incidentally, “dumb” initially meant “without voice,” and I’ve noticed that most theological argument have plenty of “voice”, just little of substance.

Many years ago, I listened to a comedian (can’t remember his name, sorry folks) who, as part of his monologue, told of when he was a child, he thought his name was Jesus Christ. Because when he had several of his friends over to his house, his father entered, saw everyone, and shouted, “JESUS CHRIST, WHAT ARE ALL THESE KIDS DOING HERE?!?!”
