Just got back from a visit to DC. The first thing my daughter asked was: “did you go to the Exorcist steps in Georgetown?” We went there when we were visiting colleges many years ago and she thought I would go again. When she said it, I wish I had! The only movie that ever gave me a nightmare.

Dave, you just hit a nerve. Using the apostrophe to make something plural, has become an epidemic, and it drives me nuts. It’s not that hard to learn when to use it, and when not to. "It’s (contraction for it is), fun to watch a dog wag its (possessive) tail. Simple.
