(see also nose-picker.) teeth-grinder. a speech that stirs resentment, esp. toward the other party's crummy candidate. man: ngh ooooh ngh ooh, i oughta- knuckle-dragger. a more proactive form of teeth grinder. appeals to your cro-magnon side. ngaaaaaaargh stool-softener. not a speech you need linger for. find the exit and use it.

Pretty fair summation of responses to political speeches. But don’t forget the promised “cocktail party meet-and-greet afterwards” that lured you to the speech in the first place….
