Back in the late ’80s we entertained our kids on long drives with an album (on cassette tape) by Joe Scruggs called “Traffic Jams”. One of the songs was indeed called “Are We There Yet?” The lyrics of all the songs were pretty clever and stood up to repeated listening. Good times. His albums are now easily found on the Internet.
