Rip was a cad. That’s hard to forgive, perhaps especially for a girl (think “An Ideal Husband”, O. Wild). Can you imagine his reaction a month ago if he’d surprised Cobra kissing someone?

They need to take a step back and talk…off-strip, of course. True, they’ve shared many adventures together but Rip recalls that Cobra has betrayed him many times in the past. And let’s not forget her Payne-ful brainwashing episode! So, I don’t blame him for being receptive to the vulnerable Bliss Benson. However, she feels hurt and he should recognize that. Still…Cobra is being a tad melodramatic.

A very poignant strip today. Still, I think both Cobra and Rip have to put on their big-kid pants, reconcile their differences (after all, they have a son, even if they’re not married) and work things out. By the way, is it me, or does it look like there are tears in Cobra’s eyes?
