I remember a documentary one time about dogs and their people. I forget the name of it, but it had a scene at a dog park. A dog had just done its business, and the owner used a bag to scoop it up and dispose of it in an assigned waste bin.…The narrator said that the dog doesn’t understand why his owner would do that. Animals use their urine and feces to mark their territories. When we humans pick up after them, they consider it an act of vandalism.
