One thing I like about this comic is that it’s never preachy. In my opinion there are unfortunately way too many preachy comics out there. It’s as if the cartoonists are forcing us to learn lessons to the point it feels like the lessons are being crammed down our throats. Not so with Rip Haywire. The only lesson we learn is that bad guys (or sharks, in this case) should steer clear of Rip and his giggling knuckles.

A shark fight in static panels just doesn’t flow very well. Must be why the shark went away.
