Carbonatite lava which is only about half the temperature of typical lava, flows freely with a viscosity similar to motor oil and can be found in only one place on earth- the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano in Tanzania! Bond... James Bond?! British author Ian Fleming was an avid birdwatcher and his fictional British superspy, James Bond, was named after an American ornithologist! The thing? Paleontologists have discovered more than 1000 fossils of Siphiusauctum Gregarium- a bulbous, 8 inch long animal that lived 500 million years ago, but no one has any idea what other animals it is related to!
