with Yellowstone actually kind of close to the Pacific Ocean, it must take an awfully long time to drain into the Atlantic Ocean

I’ll bet that one of the “oceans” is the Gulf of Mexico.

Isa lake drains into rivers that drain into the Pacific and Gulf of Mexico.

The artist could have put the correct markings on the tail of the A/C, a red and white four square emblem not a star.

You should see the statue of the moose next to it.

The lake thing is a bit of a stretch.. but technically correct as Lake Isa feeds rivers which move in opposite sides of the continental divide.

And don’t forget the Great Basin, where the continental divide splits, and water goes to neither ocean.

In 1995 a 120-foot-tall baseball bat statue was erected in the city of Louisville, Kentucky.

The plane crash story reminds me of the crash accident in which golfer Payne Stewart was killed. The plane took off from Florida and lost pressure while it was climbing to altitude on autopilot. Everyone on board was killed, and the plane kept flying itself unmanned for four hours and 1500 miles, until it ran out of fuel and crashed in South Dakota.

Once a squirrel chewed through some cables, disrupting our power for a time. I’d blow up that statue.
